Insight for the new Horse Owner
There can be many exciting and rewarding moments owning a Thoroughbred Race Horse. For all the years that I have been around them and have raced them, there still is nothing more exciting to me, than to see my Horse turn for home giving that honest effort with the will to win. There is the real possibility of excitement for you, your family and friends. There is the day out to the races. Visiting your horse at the barn in the morning to watch him or her train, can be almost as exciting as attending the races and even more interesting to new and seasoned owners to witness the events leading up to a horses race.. The possibilities are here to dream in a way that is exciting and fun! Some people measure success in numbers and some measure success in life's experience. In Thoroughbred Horse Racing we are able to achieve both of these things through the strength and graciousness of the horse.
Billing Agreement
There are a variety of billing habits through out the industry. I would suggest that anyone that is interested in getting involved do as they would when shopping for an automobile. Ask questions and find out what the going rate is in your area. Take note that the higher the purses at a given track, the higher the price will be for services. Owners will be charged every other week or monthly, on a per-day basis. Which some will be payable in advance of said interval and some may allow you to pay at the end of each month. Separate billings will accrue monthly such as Shoeing approximately $100.00 and veterinary care that could begin as low as $15.00 for basic animal husbandry such as worming or much more when administering more intensive care.. Partnerships are a very good way to keep the cost down but I suggest you have a history with the people you do business with. For the first time owner, I will be more than happy to discuss in further detail the many options in which you can become a Race Horse owner and enjoy all the excitement that comes with owning your own stable. For your privacy and mine, all questions regarding pricing per-day and discounts for three or more Horses can be answered by e-mailing me.
